"Reform of the Reform" has already begun

Pope Benedict has already begun the "reform of the reform" of the liturgy. His first act was his Installation Mass. He is entirely conscious of the great and beautiful liturgical tradition he inherits -- especially that of liturgical texts, music, rituals and symbolic places. Our esteemed colleague in Rome, Sandro Magister, eloquently relates these facts in his lastest column.

Amici carissimi,

Through the mysteries of modern technology, a most unfortunate problem with the link to our dear friend Sandro's insightful piece on the reform of the reform has now been rectified. The Vaticanisti hope that you will forgive our momentary failure in this regard. Enjoy!

Thank Goodness!!

A revitalization of our historical church is much needed here in the United States. I have lived in two dioceses where the Bishop directly "encouraged" eliminating traditional church design. Likewise, my lay catechists in both cases were heavily influenced by New Age "goddess" junk.

Hopefully, The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter and other traditional orders will continue their mission to restore our church. Now if only SSPX will work to develop full approval with the Holy Father....
